  1. Current Events
    1. Earth Day Bottle Drop Drive Recap (Deb): General amount $157 for the drive and our balance is $630. 
    2. Kinder Round-Up Recap (Deb & Elisa):  20 kinders showed up to the event with 8 families signed up to volunteer. 
    3. Auction Recap (Entire Board):  
      1. Stripe Sales Summary
        1. Total Gross Sales (Stripe): $10,694.35
        2. Fees: $741.68
        3. Net Sales (Stripe): $9,952.67
        4. Cash Sales: $400
        5. Last year’s auction we made $7,098, versus $10,694.35
    4. Staff Appreciation Week (Jordan, Haley & Elisa): This week celebrating staff. Monday was build your own yogurt bar and Ahmed made coffee, Tuesday was snack drop off, Wednesday is farmer’s market with canvas totes to be ironed on with treats and goodies, Thursday is kids day and Friday is lunch. 
    5. 2026-27 PTO Board Election Process (Jordan): 
      1. Nomination dates are April 29th-May 11th, Election is May 14-28th, Announcement of a new board on June 2 which is the last board meeting of the year. The link can be found on the Instagram file. Mrs. Wood and Megan Burns are in charge. There have been a handful of nominations with some having multiple nominations. 
  2. Upcoming Events
    1. May Dine Out with Dilley (Elisa): May 19th from 5-close only at Ironworks Grill.  You can phone in or in-person and the school will receive 50% of the proceeds. 
    2. Yearbooks (Ahmed): Flyer put out on Monday for families that includes two custom pages for free to put photos from the family. All custom pages need to be done by May 19th. They will arrive a few days before school ends with no definitive date. 
  1. Field Day (Liz & Ahmed): June 11th, all day. Teachers are responsible for the majority of the event. PTO is in charge of the water stations, otter pops and for volunteers for all day you will be served lunch provided by the PTO. All day volunteers are preferred but half day is wanted as well. 
  2. Volunteer Appreciation (John & Deb): May 20th, from 10-11:30. Teachers and Mr. Allen are in charge.
  3. Pumpkin Patch: Friday, October 23rd Pumpkin Patch is scheduled. This year PTO used a 3 burner camp stove as it requires a lot of hot water. Ordering Dilley shirts can be done ahead of time and what the cost would be. Grade level shirts, all school shirts but prices would be great. Teachers would like to get this information by Friday and would want about 200. $1054.98 for 190 white shirts with Dilley name across which comes around $5 per person. Jordan, Liz and Ahmed although retiring could help with the process of tie dying. Many years ago, there was a school-wide tie-dying event. There are different way to tie dye that does not require hot water. There is a process of doing their own with double ziplock bags. Mrs. Marshall has a connection and will inquire. Jill Phillips will check with a local source. 
  4. Staffing changes due to budget cuts will go out tomorrow. 4th grade, should be about $300 towards the June 8th 4th grade surprise. A large obstacle course will arrive for the 4th graders. They will get it first and last of the day. The students will all get an opportunity. 
  • Staff updates: from 6.5 hours IA get reduced to 6 hours. Jackie Ferrarri is transferred to Tom McCall, Shelby Haugan will be transferred to Echo Shaw. Nikki, the office secretary, was originally a temporary position. It will be posted internally first and then posted externally. Reading Specialist position Louis is a temporary and Dilley will be getting a specialist from another school who has reading endorsement. Dale Henderson will be doing an internship half time position at Harvey Clark. We will get a full time counselor from Harvey Clark. 
    • Dale Henderson created a video for the PTO board saying her goodbyes. She has been in Dilley for the past 9 years but due to finalizing her Masters degree internship, she will be going half time at another school. 
  1. New Business

Music will be moved into the new room until it becomes a preschool. Mrs. Fisher’s room is set up to be a preschool room so the new room will possibly remain to be the music room. 

Next year’s class sizes and teachers per grade will be discussed and determined next week with teachers and staff. Projected enrollment is about 187. One grade will only have one teacher but this will have to be decided. 

Book vending machine: They have a grant writer who will help the process of the grant writing to ensure you can apply. The quote is only good through June but they can extend the quote if need be.
