There are so many ways to get involved in the Dilley community — no matter your schedule or interests!
We’re always looking for volunteers to support our students, staff, and school events. Whether you’re interested in joining the PTO board, help plan an event, or simply lending a hand where it’s needed, there’s a role for everyone — big or small.
Not available during school hours? No problem! Many opportunities are flexible and can be done on evenings or weekends.
Here are just a few ways you can help:
- Help plan or staff events like the school carnival, book fair, or family nights
- Organize or contribute to teacher appreciation efforts
- Share your skills — graphic design, photography, tech support, writing, etc.
- Help with fundraising — from planning to promotion
- Join a committee or task group with a short-term focus
- Sort and distribute spirit wear or yearbooks
- Provide baked goods, supplies, or decorations for events

- Attend a PTO meeting to hear updates and discover where help is needed
- Contact your child’s teacher to see how you can support the classroom
- Join our volunteer interest list so we can reach out when opportunities arise

Volunteer Requirements:
To volunteer at Dilley Elementary, you must complete a background check. This must be completed every school year.
