Jump Start Kindergarten Program

Get Ready for Kindergarten!
The Forest Grove School District Jump Start Kindergarten Program helps incoming kindergarten students become comfortable and confident before their first day of school. Through fun, hands-on activities, students will learn school routines, develop early literacy and social skills, meet school staff, and begin building friendships with future classmates.
Location: All Forest Grove School District Elementary Schools
Dates: August 17–21, 2026
Jump Start Kindergarten provides a welcoming introduction to school and helps students begin their kindergarten journey ready to learn and succeed.
